All the scooters / electric wheelchairs supplied through the Motability scheme are brand new and come with 3-year full cover until 2029, which includes BATTERIES, PUNCTURES, BREAKDOWNS, HOME RECOVERY, SERVICING, INSURANCE & if your scooter / electric wheelchair needs to be taken away for repair you will be loaned a similar product so you can remain mobile at all times. So with a Motability scooter or electric wheelchair you can go out, where you want, when you want, without the need to worry as you will be fully covered for the next 3 years.

How Can I Get A Scooter On Motability

To get a scooter through the Motability Scheme you must use your Government-Funded mobility allowance. This will either be one of the following:

• High Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independent Payment (PIP) which is currently £64.50 per week.
• War Pension Mobility Supplement (WPMS) which is currently £72.00 per week.
• Armed Forces Independent Payment (AFIP) which is currently £151.40 per week.
